Keep Portland Weird
Jacob, musician and dealer, and Hector, his lab rat
whether tunes or hits, he'll sell you dreams and you'll probably end up preferring them to reality
- Jacob Lindermann: musician and drug dealer who frequents some of the same hangouts as Oli. He’s popular on the streets, and can often be found playing at the Street Food market. He sells Ecstasy, Xanax and recently brought on Óli for his biology knowledge to produce psychedelic mushrooms. Has high aspirations for building his illicit business, but the local street gangs don’t approve. They first met when Óli put himself between Jacob and someone who was beating on him. He pays Óli just enough for him to get by. He’s highly charismatic and intelligent. No use in a fight however, wouldn’t want to hurt that pretty face. He has a lot of friends, some which are quite influential.
- Hector Perez: part of Jacob Lindermanns group. He’s the one who gets the drugs that Lindermann sells. Smart guy who loves chemistry, but his family was too poor to put him through college so instead he started working for Lindermann. Shares Ólis love for science, and is the one that pitched the idea to bring Óli into the “club”. He has a connection to the latino-american gang, which keeps them from cracking down on Lindermanns group. He’s a deep thinker, highly intelligent but not quick to think on his feet. He’s a big guy and could probably be fairly intimidating if he wanted to.
